This Statement of Planning Policy has been prepared under section 5AA of the Town Planning and Development Act 1928. It applies to land in the vicinity of Jandakot Airport which may be affected by aircraft noise. The policy may be cited as Statement of Planning Policy 5.3 Jandakot Airport Vicinity. The objectives of this policy are to:protect Jandakot Airport from encroachment by incompatible land use and development, so as to provide for its ongoing, safe, and efficient operation; and minimize the impact of airport operations on existing and future communities with particular reference to aircraft noise.More information can be found here. |
